Hi to everyone, new homebrewer in Southeastern VA. On 4Th batch , children gave me a brew kit for xmas. Always enjoyed beer always been a big part of my life(30 years selling & marketing fora beer wholesaler) and somewhat know the brewing science although never applied. Only regrets is my son and daughter not here to help me enjoy all this beer!

At times my wife talks about the day she gave me a brew kit for Christmas. Then she rolls her eyes and say, "what did I do? What did I start?" (but at least she laughs)
Yeah, my wife blames my son for letting the monster out of the cage! Haha. However I did brew her one of her favorites styles last week (golden ale) she likes her beer a little less intense! But hey that's what makes the earth spin?
