Changing screen dimensions in "Recipe View"

Is there a way to stretch the 'Recipe View' screen so that it fits better on the whole screen?  Right now, there is a lot of white space to the right of the "ok, cancel, save, as" set of buttons.  I would like to strech it so that I can see more information in the ingedients box. 

ALSO, I would like to make the ingredients box in "Recipe View" taller so that I can see all ingredients at once without having the scroll through the list.

Can this be done in the current version?  Thanks!

  No, unfortunately there is no way to do this.  In version 2.0 I have expanded things substantially to better use wide screens.
