Hi all, I hope you can help me with this.  I am having problems accurately converting my refractometer readings.  I am in mid-fermentation right now.  Here's my data:

Calibrated refractometer (ATC) with distilled water = 0
My hydrometer reads 1.001 with distilled water (corrected for temperature)

OG = 1.035
Mid fermentation wort readings:
  Refractometer reads 4B
     Corrects, via Beersmith, to 1.004
  Hydrometer reads 1.010 (corrected for temperature).

How can I account for this discrepancy?  I'll also calibrate my refractometer and hydrometer with 8oz water to 1oz table sugar (looking for 11.8B or 1.046SG).

EDIT:
With the sugar water,
The corrected hydrometer reading = 1.045
Refractometer reading = 1.044
