I brewed what was gonna be an American IPA, but I ended up buying Marris otter instead of American 2-row. Could I still call this an American IPA?

I think your hop profile will make it an American IPA.  The Maris Otter should add a nice background malt character.

Did you dry hop your beer?
I usually use about 2 or 3oz for dry hopping and get great results.

Kinda funny. My brother and I were asking each other the same thing just yesterday. We came up with this.. Just call it an Uber IPA or like Shane said,

Call it a homebrew and enjoy it.

My hop bill on this beer is, 10oz all together for 5 gal. All Cascade.

  5 oz. (60mins)
  1.5 oz (20mins)
  1 oz (10mins)
  0.5 oz (1min)
  2 oz (dry-hopped 5 days)

I just kegged this beer last night. ;D
