Alcohol content

My copy of Beersmith is not with me and I would like to know the alcohol content of two gravity readings.  Would you please let me know what the content is for:

1.008
1.010

That is a FG and it is impossible to tell without knowing the OG
 
(OG - FG) / 0.00753 / 1000 = ABV

(50 - 10) / .00753 / 1000 = 5.31

At first I thought this was spam.  There are tons of quickly accessible web sites to calculate this.  I checked his profile and he had not posted in a while but was active at one time.  But the message makes no sense.  It is a weird post.
