Greetings fellow brewers, Bruce from Livermore, CA. here. I can hardly believe it but I’ve been brewing for 3 years now and still consider myself a green rookie. I’m learning new stuff all the time at the local brew shop, books, or on the internet. It took me forever to try the BeerSmith software because BeerTools (online) seemed to be working fine for me. But after trying BeerSmith there really is no contest. Great piece of software you have developed Brad!
I have brewed a number of partial extracts and last year went to a HERMS system I built myself. The past year I’ve been doing pretty much all-grain ale’s and one Kolsch with my son. We brew 10 gallon batches that we split.
