What is meant by fermenter loss in the equipment profile settings and how do you calculate it?

Hi,
It is simply the volume of beer you lose during fermentation - usually to trub left in the primary fermenter, secondary fermenter or bottling vessel during the fermentation.  The best way to get an accurate figure is to measure the volume into the fermenter at start of fermentation, and then measure again when you are bottling/kegging to figure out how much beer you lost during fermentation and transfers.
