Does the program back calculate pre boil gravity requirements to adjust for losses in the trub/chiller.

No it does not - the estimated original gravity is based on your overall brewhouse efficiency which represents all of the losses in your system.
This is the same definition that the industry uses for brewhouse efficiency, so I was reluctant to vary from that standard even if it is possible to calculate these losses.
Perhaps in the future I could add some addiitional fields to the efficiency calculator to calculate and compare these equipment losses.
