Hi everybody,
I tried my hand at growing my own hops this year, and they did much better than I expected! The problem is that I had 2 separate rhizomes each of Cascade & Willamette, and they ended up growing together and twisting around each other so much that when I harvested last week, I wasn't able to untangle them or tell the difference! So now I've got 12 dried ounces of mixed Cascade & Willamette hops in the freezer, but I'm not sure if/how well they'll work in a recipe, as I know they're both used for different things. Does anybody have any ideas/recommendations/recipes for a mixed bag of Cascade & Willamette? I'm thinking I can just use a normal IPA recipe and hope for the best, but wondering if anybody else has a better idea.
P.S. Next year I'll just stick to one variety!
Thanks!
