Dead Space

How do I enter and adjust for the 2 quarts of deadspace at the bottom of my boil kettle.

Maybe just increase your boil off amount a tad to account for that loss?

Is the dead space your talking about in your Kettle or Mash Tun? If its Mash Tun there's an entry for it in your equipment profile. If your talking about what is left below the spigot on the Kettle when your done draining enter is as a loss to trub/chiller. Good Luck.

I put my "left behinds" in the "Loss to Trub and Chiller" since it is mostly trub and hops.
