I am currently using 1.4 and trialing 2.0. Why are there so many greyed out inputs throughout the software. So far in just a few minutes I have found them when trying to set up equipment i.e. boil off%. Also when making a yeast starter. Not impressed yet!

Greyed out inputs

Hi,
The greyed out inputs are calculated from the other inputs (the ones not greyed out). If you have not worked with BeerSmith before I recommend you take a look at the many videos I have online from the main web site http://beersmith.com/videos
The one on setting up equipment is particularly important.
