A couple questions regarding equipment profile setup for extract brewing (ie, 'type' is selected to extract):
1) Am I correct that 'brewhouse efficiency' has no effect on OG, IBU, SRM & ABV?
2) I'm playing around with a couple different profile setups and their effects on batch calculations. The first is 8.00gal boil volume w/ 2.00 gal boil off and 0.00gal trub loss. The second is 8.00gal boil volume w/ 1.50gal boil off and 0.50gal trub loss. Why does the change in ratio between boil off and trub loss (ie, changing 2.00gal:0.00gal to 1.50gal:0.50gal) only affect IBU and SRM but not OG/ABV? Shouldn't OG/ABV also be affected because the wort is more concentrated in a 2.00gal:0.00gal ratio and less concentrated in a 1.50gal:0.50gal ratio?
