Pickled Tun - sour note?

  Just finished making my mash tun (10 gallon Igloo) with a copper manifold.  I remember hearing something about pickling the copper prior to brewing.  How do I go about this?

Its brass you need to worry about.  Or more correctly the Lead in the Brass.

  Thank You!  I did find the 2-1 vinegar - peroxide solution AND the info about copper.  I was pretty sure I did not need to worry about the copper.
