Hi,
I need some help with different formulations of California Common recipes...
The last one we brewed consisted of the following for 25L (roughly 6.5 gallon) :
6kg 2 row pale malt (86%)
1kg Crystal 10L (14%)
25g Northern Brewer 60min
15g Northern Brewer 20min
15g Northern Brewer 10min
Saflager Yeast (Proper California Common yeast is very difficult to get in South Africa)
My questions are the following:
Apart from Pale Malt which specialty malts do you use and how much?
Which hop varieties do you use in addition to Northern Brewer?
