Scaling a recipe for efficiency

Being new to brewing and Brewsmith I wasn't sure what my efficiency would be. I entered a recipe that assumes a 65% efficiency and ended up brewing with 72% efficiency, and my APA turned into an IPA. So, I'd like to try it again, this time using 72% as my efficiency so I used the scale recipe feature, changed it to 72% and checked "match gravity, color and bitterness."

The original recipe had 11.5 lbs pale 2-row (92%), and 1 lb crystal 60 (8%).

The scaled recipe has 10.25 lbs pale 2-row (90.8%), and 1 lb 0.7 ounces crystal 60 (9.2%).

So, why would the crystal 60 amount go up rather than down?

When I scale a recipe for efficiency I only change the base and the hops.
When I let BeerSmith scale for new equipment which was mainly an efficiency change I let it convert and then I put everything but the base and the hops back to what they were.

Why, I don't know. I would blame it being a computer program and brewing is not only science.
