My second question.
Currently I prime in the bottle uisng either priming drops or standard sugar but will probably move to dextrose (corn sugar) or LME in future.
My understanding is that the priming adds about .5% to the abv, so to calc actual abv you get the OG - FG figure and add .5 %
e.g my APA recently bottled, started at 1.044, and finished at 1.012 which is an abv of 4.2% (making no adjustment for temprature) this is what BS gives me.
But shouldnt it be 4.7% approx to account for the bottle conditioning ?
