Hi All,
I have a brew day booked in for tomorrow but am having a problem with the EBC colour of the stout.
Basically 23ltr batch
Maris otter Pale malt 3900g - 5.9 EBC
Cara 220g - 5 EBC
Chocolate 140g - 1000 EBC
Brown 140g – 128.1 EBC
Black 140g - 1300 EBC
Wheat malt 220g – 4 EBC
I`m getting a reading of 49.8 EBC.
The brewery who actually gave me the recipe said it should be 105 EBC.
I doubled checked with a couple of other brewing programs some confirm the 50 ish result others are closer to the 105 EBC rating
Could anyone please double check the above.
Cheers + Many Thanks
