Calendar question

Is there a way to design a recipe without the calendar automatically recording it as if I was brewing it that day? It renders the calender useless when it has every recipe I try to formulate listed as if I brewed it.
 
You can set calendar so only ber log recipes appear or just set your recipe date to a non current date.
