Elixer BW

S

Shakey_Dog

I have the Holiday 2006 brew up today.  23lbs of grain and a little DME to boost the OG.

I can't wait until Thanksgiving 06 when I can drink some.

I will have to crack a BW from last year or two years ago to celabrate 8)

Carbonation and Storage

The next time you brew this push the boil up to 120 minutes,  I think you will like the results.

I thought about that but I have never done that before.

I have heard very good things about the longer boil.  I have another one I am working on that I will try that with.

How can you have this much malt in 5 Gal?
23.00 lb Pale Malt

I have one boiling now and it has 3.3 lbs Light Malt and 2 lbs. Power malt

I have a 10 gal mash tun.

I make high gravity beers just about all the time and 5 gal. cooler was just not big enough.

There is 3 lbs of LME in there too.  I don't think any of my beers that I make are less than 1.070.
