This plugin will autosave form data and allow you to restore it if your browser crashes...

https://chrome.google.com/webstore/search/lazarus%20form%20recovery?hl=en-US

or

http://getlazarus.com/

The two links appear to have gone unfortunately.  The Lazarus website location as listed on the Chrome webstore page no longer work.

CN have changed their download link to identify the browser you are using and sends you automatically to the relevant download page to download the Lazarus extension.

I have tested with 64bit Firefox 16.0.2 but doesn't work with IE 64bit - for some reason it defaults to Chrome.  When trying to use Chrome (the latest beta version 6 Feb 2013) it comes up with an error "Download was not a CRX".

Though it could be because I'm using Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit and Linux

CNET Link:                                http://download.cnet.com/Lazarus-Form-Recovery/3000-33362_4-75001572.html

Direct Firefox extension link:    https://addons.mozilla.org/en-us/firefox/addon/lazarus-form-recovery/

For more information on this I would recommend reading about it here
(but do remember the download links on the following link don't work as they are linking to a nonexistent Lazarus homepage): http://lazarus-form-recovery.en.softonic.com/
