Just want to say Hi to all my fellow home brewers. I have been stove top extract brewing for about 5 years now and I am looking to make the jump to all grain here soon. I read about converting an Igloo cooler to a mash tun. Exactly how do I go about doing it? Any pointers are appreciated.
 
I followed these directions to make mine.  However, I bought a bazooka tube and used an addtional coupler to screw the screen into.  I believe that the tube has 1/2" threads.  No stuck sparges yet, and it holds the temperature pretty well - only a 3-5 degree drift.  I always preheat the tun for about 15 minutes thoughwith the same temperature water that I'm going to strike with.
