When BS2 calculated FG for a recipe does it take into account the attenuation value of the chosen yeast?  This should affect the FG strongly right?

Does anyone know if the min and max attenuation of the yeast strain is apparent or real attenuation value ?

Apparent. Yeast specs are set by the manufacturer and merely copied into BeerSmith.

Attenuation should be adjusted based on your actual experience, since real world fermentation conditions matter more than general specs.
