How to Remove Items from Inventory

The Help option says to select a recipe, then select the Remove Inv button from the ribbon.

OK, I cannot find anything that says Remove Inv.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

the big fat icons toolbar, next the the Shopping cart: "Remove Inv"
 
The icon appeared after I did something, but cannot remember what - maybe closed my inventory and recipe and re-opened them.

The icon is really obvious now!!!!!
