Hello. My name is Tom Hynes, owner/head brewer of Three Pints Brewpub in Plainfield Indiana. We have been open a little over two years, and we brew mostly ales with some occasional lagers. I was a home brewer for over 20 years (plenty of time to reinforce bad habits!) before opening the pub. My formal brewing education is limited to the Siebel Concise Course in Brewing, so I still have a lot to learn about brewing on a larger scale. Prior to opening the pub I was a software engineer.
My wife of 32 years, Pam, and I have raised three wonderful children - Christina, Joseph, and Aleigha - and I am the proud grandfather of two-year-old Isabel (The "Izzy" in one of our house beers called "Izzy's IPA") and six-month-old Gavin (no brew named for him...yet!).
