Hello to all,
My lovely girlfriend went out and bought me into another hobby for valentines day...home brew equipment! Now this is something that I've wanted to get into for years, so my quest for the best equipment, books, ingredients, etc has been full bore for the past three weeks, but still no boil yet. I just purchased beersmith, plan on working on one gallon production at a time, I only drink about a twelve pack a week anyway. When I get some experience, I'll step up to the big boys and do 5 gallons like most everyone else, and just share a lot!
Really excited to get underway though, just received my wort chiller today, shiny new stockpot, 10" strainer, scale, and a kit (this will be one of very few kits) from brooklyn brew. Tomorrow starts the boil!
