Hey there,

I'm new to BeerSmith. This is my first time using it, after reading up about it and watching video tutorials I finally got my feet wet and tried creating my own brew.

The problem I have is when I'm done entering everything into the "Recipe" section and I click "Brew Steps" I get the print out.

The problem is that my "Post Boil" is 1.5 gallons larger then my 5 gallon batch size.

Did I fat finger something or did I enter in something wrong?

Here is what I'm getting

Hi,
The post-boil volume is determined from your batch volume plus trub loss, minus any top up water.  Likely the difference you see is from the trub loss number.
