The default for this seems about %50 off for my mash tun. DO a lot of people change this?

I'm not too good at math.. I want to use 0.16 gallons per pound of grain.

Beersmith wants fl oz/oz of grain..

What number would I use? thanks

Just in case anyone come across this searching for help.  ;)

There is 128 oz of water in a gallon(British is 160).
There is 16 oz in a lb.

So in my case I think I want (0.16/128) / 16?

No that can't be right. The default of 0.96 goes to 0.000078125

wtf? who measures their mashes in oz anyways?!

Hi,
I believe 0.16 gallons/lb * 128 fl oz/gal * 1 lb/16oz gives you (if you cross out the various units) a value of 1.28 floz/oz to use in the advanced settings.

actually the metric system uses milliliters and grams.
