I have a recipe that calls for whirlpooling hops at 0 min. I am not exactly sure what that means. Do I throw in the hops at the end of the boil and just stir it for awhile or is there something else I am missing?

That's the gist of it.  Commercial breweries and some homebrewers with fancy rigs have pumps and they whirlpool the wort during/after cooling, during which they allow hops to steep.  Since it's post-boil, they hops' aromatics do not get burned off.

Yep.  Turn off the flame, add hops and stir for a few minutes.  Get a good whirlpool going then cover and let it settle for 15 minutes.  This collects trub in the center of the kettle.  If you can avoid disturbing it, the wort will transfer a lot clearer and with less coagulated proteins and other goop from the wort boil.
