Citra IPA
« on: November 20, 2013, 08:53:45 PM »
So the goal of this IPA is to tinker with some new hops that I've not tried, namely... you guessed it...Citra.  Ultimately my goal is to have that clear crisp light bodied IPA that smacks you in the face with citrus and floral aroma and a balanced bitterness.  I would love to hear your thoughts.

Wow, Citra is in short supply.  Hope you can get some.

For the boil, use any bittering hop.  I use Citra in my Strawberry Honey Blonde as aroma and it is wonderful.  Save the Citra for mostly aroma.

Yah, just checked with  my local homebrew supply and they currently have over a pound of it so I'm excited for this recipe.
