It is an absolute pleasure to be in the Beersmith group.
I've been a home brewer for the past 8 months. I have been working on a batch of beer for the past five recipes that I was rather proud of....until I sampled the Beersmith software and figured out I was working far too hard. For what it's worth, the brew that I've been working on originally started as an American Amber Ale...but Beersmith told me I was making an American Pale Ale at best...and the beer that I ultimately wanted was a nice English Pale Ale.
Interestingly enough, it only took me about 5 minutes to create an Robust Porter to my satisfaction in about five minutes.
I can't wait to continue my learning in this forum.
