I'm new to Beersmith, and i'm putting all of my recipes into it.  I've bought the full version of Beersmith 2 mobile.  The only thing that I haven't been able to figure out is how to change the steep time/temp when doing an extract recipe.

Any help??

Thanks

Hi,
I don't currently have that as an option - I'll add a note to make it configurable in the future.

It would be great if you did the same for all other ingredients as well.  Say for example I want to use some honey to raise the SG so I add it to the recipe, but it defaults to pasteurize and add to the primary even though I wish to boil it for 30 mins.  Only hops seem to have the functionality to dictate boil times.

For sugars, there is a buttonhole feature, hidden in plain sight.

Double click on the sugar.
Unclick the Add After Boil box.
Change the Type to Extract. This will allow you to edit the boil time field.
Once you have selected a boil time, change the Type back to Sugar.

The timing will remain and show up in your recipe steps where you want it.
