I still buy my adjuncts and hops (and occasional yeast) from a brew shop that I don't like. We call the proprietor "Brew Boy" and he's a snotty know-nothing. (I've only recently discovered that he doesn't know much. I always knew he was snotty.) I feel ripped off every time I leave there.
I used to buy my spray malt there too but since switching to all grain (at the urging of my friend, mentor and master brewer at my local brew pub - he's an artist working in beer) I tack an extra 25 kilo sack on to his order and I get my Canadian two row for $1/kilo. He's also generous with yeast if I get a container to him when he harvests.
I'd like to find a good on-line source for adjuncts and hops.
Any suggestions?
