All,
  I just posted BeerSmith build 31 -
    - Now allows you to add late extracts to partial mash recipes
    - Corrects a number of important bugs with the calendar view by normalizing dates
    - This one should be available using the update command on your tools menu

Brad: I currently have build 30, and when I use the Update feature in the program it tells me "There are no new updates available". I assume I should just download the program again?

Hmmm,
  I looked in the build 30 directory and the correct update is in place.  Is it possible you have something blocking the FTP port?

I have been getting this progress information since I upgraded to 1.4.

What would be the cause of my program not finding beersmith.exe while updating, and how can it be fixed.

Hmmm...
  My guess is the program is trying to create either the updates directory or the file in that directory so it can write to it.  Apparently for some reason it has no permissions to that directory.

  Check the permissions on the BeerSmith and BeerSmith/Updates directory.

I get the same thing when I try to update.  Never had a problem before.

OK - what is your current version/build number?  Some older versions may not auto update...

Hmmm...
  Not sure why it will not update - the updated executable appears to be in the correct directory.  I suspect it may be a firewall or connection problem.  I will take a look at it however and see if I can duplicate the problem.

  I recommend you just download the version from the web site and update it using setup.exe (see instructions on the download page).
