Title: Date Purchaed - Inventory
Post by: Toy4Rick on November 29, 2013, 12:12:14 PM
Hey Brad,

Seems to me having the date an item was purchased in the inventory would be very helpful.  Especially for Hops so we can calculate the new AA%

Currently I add it to the notes but a date field and one that can be added to the inventory view would be supreme.

Thanks for a great product
Rick

+1 for grain inventory rotation, and for hops, once you decide the date you're using, BS2 could do the actual aging math per hop automatically.  It's a function of date, storage conditions, and the hop, correct, so all data would be known?

Agreed 100%. Date purchased or Best By dates are kind of important for inventory management. Also inventory storage condition, location, package size, etc.  I write on the containers but would love to see it in the inventory list. Do folks use another ap for inventory details?
