Android Brew day timer Pause Function not working?

I have the desktop version and I have no problems using the timer. I purchased Beersmith mobile a few days ago and am trying to familiarise myself prior to brewing. When I pause the timer on the mobile version the countdown clock stops but the alarm goes off after the elapsed time. I have tried resetting and clearing the timer and have also closed the program but the alarm still sounds.
Anyone else having problems? Any suggestions where I could be going wrong?

This is a known issues - the timer is not resetting properly on Android after you pause it.  I just corrected this in the latest version which is in beta testing now so it should be release shortly.
