Kettles for small microbreweries and brew pubs are usually built with ease of manufacture or space-saving demands from customers. If the kettle is also be used as Whirlpool tank, the inside should be free of obstructions that could interfere with the whirlpool action and the kettle normally has a flat and sloped bottom.
