Newbie just trying to understand the information being displayed…………
While in a recipe I select “Mash” tab and get my mash information, “Mash In” amount of water at a temperature needed for mashing in. Next under “Sparge” you get amount of water and temperature at which to sparge with.
My question deals with the Sparge temp, is this temperature that is being displayed the temperature of the water to be added, taking my equipment into consideration or the temperature of the water/grain mix in the mash ton after adding the water. Another words the target temperature?
