Gravity increase is always wrong despite boil off.

Hi guys, so my boil off is about 4.5 litres per hour and I have this set in the Bersmith settings. But Beersmith always says I will increase gravity by 10 points in an hour boil and 4.5 litre loss and I always only ever get around 5 points. I dont know where my settings are wrong or how to fix this?
 
To diagnose what may be off in your profiles, we would need a bit more information.

Do you take measurements throughout the process (water in, post mash volume, post boil volume)?

How do you take these measurements (hot, cold, measuring stick, markings on kettle, etc)?

How are you taking your gravity readings (hyrdrometer, refractometer, hot wort, chilled wort)?

That would give us a full idea of your process where we can help you figure out where the issue may be.

I measure water in using a fillometer set to 25 litres but also check markings on sight tube on outside of kettle at 25 litres.

I take post mash volume after my sparge so pre boil. I take post boil volume. I do these both at almost boil temps.

I use a refractometer that was calibrated before use with distilled water and I check hot wort but it cools on the glass plate (Its supposed poor mans ATC)

But I dont think it matters what I do as BS always says I will gain 10 points for a 60 min boil with 4.5 litres boil off and I only ever gain about 5. So even if my pre boil volume and post boil volume were out slightly they would be out by the same amount so the difference would be an accurate boil loss yeh???? Which is 4.5 litres for a 60 min boil.

Could it possibly be the 4% cooling factor (which you can change) as this will adjust the volume post-boil?
