SOGOAK
Grandmaster Brewer
I have made this twice now. I put in a pound of the jaggery per 5 gallons and round up hops to the nearest ounce.
It is a lightish farmhouse style beer that has the belgian funk on the frontend with a clean finish and the 1882 brewery standard warming with a smile.
And no I never did dry hop it.
I always offer up that Jeff Williams -No Relation in Michigan from Tasty Brew gave me the general concept. But I came up with the recipee. This was supposed to be a starter or step-up beer to go big (Fred Style) The #3846 yeast really does multiply with each use.
