Hey all....
I'm very new to all of this, but I'm finding I love every facet of the home brew.... Granted, a lot of the terminology is confusing, and I have SO much to learn, and looking forward to every drink of that learning process.
So far, I have gone from Mr. Beer.....lame, but effective at creating/feeding the addiction I now have, to waiting to bottle my first try at a Fat Tire clone, and hoping to work my way up to my favorites..... the stouts.
This brings me to the reason for my post.
I am very much into my family history, etc., and have started the search for my family's home country brew, or at least one that is close. What I have found is that there are a lot of porters and stouts in Sweden, and I would like to take an existing recipe and tweak it to make my own since I have NO clue how to start with an original recipe. Maybe some day, eh?
Thanks for any and all help......happy brewing everyone.
