Hello to All:
I'm been brewing on and off for 15 years. I graduated to kegs four years ago. Best move I ever made.
Still an "Extract brewer" although I use fresh worts when available as well.
Two changes I made over the years of brewing ales is that I now brew at a lower temperature (19 c) and for 10 to 14 days.
(Original I brewed at 25 degrees for 4 days, as recommended by Coopers Australia.)
My beer is very now very similar to the craft beers at the local pub, but oh so much cheaper!
Cheers to all.
