No alarm sound

When using the browser software I can not hear any alarm sounds from the timer, using an iPhone 13th max. However if I use the browser based software on my windows laptop the timer sounds are there!
Does anyone have any insight as to a solution?

We do have an open bug report - apparently the browser based alarm does not play from the web version of BeerSmith on some iPhones/iPads.

I'm trying to resolve it.
