If anyone has the BeerSmith data files in Portugese (grains, hops, profiles, etc) I would be happy to put together an entire package with the program in Portugese and the installer - please drop me an email (use Contact Us on the main BeerSmith page) when we get there.  I think it would be great to have the Portugese version available as a single download.

No linux, o arquivo deve estar no diretório do BeerSmith2.

faça o download do arquivo Lang.xml
copie ele para o diretório:

/usr/share/BeerSmith2

na próxima vez que inciar o aplicativo ele estará em português
 
Não consigo instalar a tradução. Poderia me passar o procedimento passo-a-passo. Uso o Windows XP Professional.

I'm new at this world. The Beer World...  :D
I want to help to translate all files to portuguese language
I saw the file Lang.xml already translated in this topic
Someone has already translated other files?
If yes, could you send me please?
I'm a Mac OS X user.
Do you know some application to edit .xml files for Mac OS X?

Ainda em tempo de contribuir...

Uso o MAC OS X Yosemite, para traduzir o BeerSmith2 siga os passos:

1. Abra o finder e clique em Aplicativos
2. Localize o app BeerSmith2 e acesse as propriedades dele (clique com dois botões) e no menu que abre, clique em "Mostrar conteúdo do pacote"
3. Acesse a pasta Contents/Resources/
4. Jogue o arquivo Lang.xml dentro desta pasta
5. Abra o BeerSmith e estará em Português

Olá amigos cervejeiros!

Informo que estou trabalhando para incrementar a tradução do BeerSmith para PT-BR, pois percebi que o arquivo Lang.xml disponível está incompleto e com algumas expressões confusas ou mesmo erradas.

Tomei a liberdade de adaptar para o que eu achei ser mais simples e preciso, na falta de um termo mais técnico do inglês para o português (ex.: Add-ons = Extensões, Batch Sparge = Lavagem por Lote). Tentei manter expressões mais comuns para os termos usados na fabricação de cerveja (caseira ou comercial), mas ainda pode haver muitos erros.

Este arquivo já está pronto para a nova versão do BeerSmith lançada em Agosto/2016, mas também funciona com versões anteriores.

Estou à disposição para críticas e sugestões.

If someone will send me an email (beersmith at beersmith.com) I can send the details and res.xml file for the next version of BeerSmith (2.4) which will be out in August so you can get started on translating.  You can merge it with the existing lang.xml which will reduce the work substantially.
