At around 1pm Central time on 5 April 2024, we suffered a large Denial of Service (DDOS) attack affecting BeerSmith.com as well as the blog and discussion forum. These sites were down or overloaded for about four hours.

I installed enhanced security checks which you will see when using the site as a temporary measure. I hope to remove them as soon as the attacks have subsided.

One problem with the new filtering put in place was that it was blocking Add-ons in BeerSmith 2. Last night I installed additional rules to correct the problem, so you should be able to download add-ons directly again from the BeerSmith 2 program.
