Weissbier carbonation volumes

the range of carbonation volume given in BeerSmith for the style 15A Weizen/Weissbier is 2.5 - 2.9 vols of CO2.
I have seen on other software and online carbonation calculators ranges of 3.6 - 4.5 for this style.
Is this an error in BeerSmith or am I missing something in my setup?

I have BeerSmith version 1.4 installed...

I'm bad. I setup the new BJCP guidelines for BeerSmith but in the process I left the previous values for carbonation alone.

You are correct on the carbonation of a weiss beer

you can make the correction yourself by opening the styles db in Beersmith, I'll get to later q
when my time is a little freer

I now see how to update it, that had me confused for a while.

Other than that one little hiccup, I've found Beersmith to be a brilliant piece of software. Keep up the good work!

Are these as good as any?  The BJCP doesn't have specific values listed.

This came up b/c I was tinkering with Carbonation Tool for my hefe and it warned me the pressure would be too high, even at 3.3 vols CO2.
