Preboil gravity with late additions
« on: March 15, 2014, 09:12:58 PM »
I like to check my preboil gravity after mashing to see if I am reasonably on target. However, if I have late additions (Belgian candy sugar in my last brew), the estimated preboil gravity in the Brew Session tab is based on the final OG including late additions. I can temporarily delete the late additions and check the preboil estimate but that is obviously not ideal. Any way around this or am I missing something?

Nope.  Its a long standing bug that catches me every time I brew a similar beer.

R.I.P.:Belgian Blonde
On Tap: Apfelwein, Kolsch(v2), Pumpkin Ale, Belgian Specialty
Aging/Storing: Coffee Porter, Chocolate Porter, Flanders Red, English Barlywine
Fermenting: Maggie's Altbier
Next Up: PtE(1.1), Belgian Dubbel?

Thanks. Glad to know that for once it wasn't just my own cluelessness.
