Hi, moving on UP
« on: August 22, 2008, 12:27:40 PM »

I live on a farm in Michigan's UP.  I like to brew beer amogst other things.   I've been brewing beer for a number of years, but mostly packaged recipes or 'canned' recipes. Im starting to experiment some as I have a good crop of home grown hops and plan to expand my hop gardening/farming as well as plant some barley.

I've got a few batches cookin right now, hoping to make some more soon.  Cya online

Curious as to how (or if) you have determined the bitterness level of your homegrown hops when determining how much to use in a batch.
