I see beersmith 3 has the ability to add juice with a plato/brix value, this would be great for liquid extracts as well. The spec sheets for these ingredients mostly have gravity measurements.
I don't know if its because I'm working in metric but the IBU - Gal/lb measurement is a real problem for me, could this simply be the IBU of the undiluted liquid?
