Mac (Catalina) 3.2 update not working with dark mode

Having the same issue with Dark Mode. Tried downgrading, switching light to dark mode, and back w/o program running... still no luck.

Since I was so irritated by this bug I made an app in automator, following these steps: https://osxdaily.com/2019/01/29/toggle-dark-mode-light-mac-via-spotlight/

It's a quick way of switching between light and dark mode when you're using Beersmith.

This will work out for me until it's fixed, but I'd appreciate an update

I still recommend switching the light mode.  Make sure the program is not running when you switch.

I'm going to work fixes this week and see if I can come up with a beta to correct the issues.

Have you come up with a solution to fix the black tabs in Big Sur?   It is very hard to read the black on black text even in light mode.

Same problem here and also not able to switch between recipe folder sometimes. BS3 doesn't load the folder contents.

i'm on macOS monterey.  and it's just a horrible experience to try and read anything

Dark mode still has issues with Monterey 12.0.1. BeerSmith 3 will often lock up and require restarting.

The only work-around I've found (Monterey 12.0.1) is to go into your system preferences and force light mode when you're working on BS3. In the BS3 prefs, select "Look and Feel" and select "Grey" under color scheme. At that point (if you have forced light mode in your system prefs), it will resemble the classic BeerSmith look. However, you have to change your system prefs back and forth if you want dark mode in other apps.
