Recipes affected by beer styles
« on: October 10, 2011, 11:05:36 AM »
When creating recipes, the style of beer selected impacts the gravity, bitterness, color and ABV differently even if the same ingredients are used.
How can I build a recipe based upon the ingredients not the beer style? Specialty Beer Style?

When I change the style in beersmith it does not change estimated original gravity, bitterness, color, or abv.  It does however change the graphic to the right of those numbers which indicates how those estimated values compare to the style selected, just as I would expect.   Where are you seeing those values change when you change the style?

My apologies, you are correct. The grafics threw me off.
